Electro-Mechanical Technician - Garland, TX

Interceramic, Tile & Stone Gallery is a dynamic and expanding network of wholesale and selection centers featuring the finest selection of ceramic tile, porcelain and natural stone available in the market today. We currently have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Electro-Mechanical Technician in our Garland, Texas manufacturing plant.

Candidates will need to complete a drug screen and a background search.

Summary      

 

Operate, test, and maintain unmanned, automated, servo-mechanical, or electro-mechanical equipment, may assist engineers in testing and designing robotics equipment.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

1) Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates.

 

3) Inspect parts for surface defects.

 

4) Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.

 

5) Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.

 

6) Repair, rework, and calibrate pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.

 

7) Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as electronic voltmeters.

 

8) Performing predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance.

 

9) Inspect electronic or electric parts for defects, including circuit boards, PLC’s, sensors, relays, power supplies, DC, AC, Stepper and Servo motors, and other electronic and motion control components

 

10) Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

 

Education and/or Experience                                                   

 

Industrial control software, experience with troubleshooting PLC’s required, drivers and inverters. 

Experience with Ladder Logic programming.

Minimum 2 years of experience. 5+ years of experience preferred.

PC software, Microsoft Excel, Word, email, etc.

Mathematical Skills   

 

Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.  Must pass a basic math test prior to hire.

Sample Express Operator- Carrollton, TX

Summary
Responsible for the daily functions of the Sample Express Department

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Picking all orders that are sent by customer service, warehouse, and sales employees to ship samples to other locations and customers in a timely manner

 

Directly responsible for making sure UPS, FedEx and other carriers are shipments are packaged and labeled correctly.

 

Boxing samples for shipment

 

Assembling display samples using special presentation requirements

 

Assisting Marketing with product set-ups as needed

 

Keeping and maintaining accurate account of sample inventory, including loose samples, sample sets, display samples, and product folders

 

Other duties may be assigned.

 

Education and/or Experience                                            

Must have inventory and order pulling experience and RF scanner experience.

Microsoft Outlook, Familiar with web-based shipping programs (Ups/FedEX Portals)

 

 

Other Qualifications                   

 

Experience with RFID devices and bar code reader equipment.

1 year experience with Order Picker and Reach Truck experience required.

Customer Service Representative- Dallas, Texas

Summary

Handles inbound and outbound customer calls with the goal of increasing business, customer satisfaction, and customer retention.  Also responsible for processing and filling customer orders for material or merchandise received by mail, telephone, or personally from customer or via company computer.  Interviews customers and records interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties.

Answering customer questions about pricing, availability, and order status

Providing exceptional customer service to exceed customer expectations

Supporting outside sales representatives to ensure customer needs are being met
