A Mexican non-profit foundation, established jointly by Interceramic and the Alfredo Harp Helú Foundation, AC in 1995 with the purpose of providing help in the areas of health and education for the children of the 'Rarámuri' communities that inhabit the Sierra Tarahumara in Chihuahua To this date, the Foundation has benefited more than 5,000 children who have received education in the different shelters that the Foundation supports and have received the medical services they deserve.
At Fundación Vida Digna we work to promote well-being and progress in the communities of the Sierra Tarahumara, by supporting various projects in the areas of education, health, and access to water.
Through Vida Digna we are able to provide intergral scholarships which covers a child's monthly expenses including education, health and community projects.
We provide health services such as diagnostics, medical consultations, hospitalizations, laboratory studies, and x-rays.
During the 2016-2017 school year, a total of 288 educational supports were granted.
Within five years, a total of 400 families in the town of Guachochi in the Sierra Tarahumara have benefited.
